About

Vision & Mission

Joint Ministry to Israel (JMI) is an international and local network hosted by the Norwegian Church Ministry to Israel (NCMI), with the purpose of awakening Christians to their responsibility for the Jewish people, proclaiming the Gospel among the Jewish people and serving them in Christian love.

“We are driven by a profound passion – a passion that fuels our mission to awaken Christians to their responsibility for the Jewish people.”

Theological basis

We base our work upon the life, death, and resurrection of Yeshua the Messiah, and we hold the Holy Scripture of the two Testaments as the authoritative guide for faith, doctrine, and life.

The Joint Ministry to Israel affirms the Lausanne Covenant as the missiological and theological basis of its network and partnership.

Sharing the gospel to the Jewish people since 1844

Joint Ministry to Israel (JMI) is a international and local newtwork owned by The Norwegian Church Ministry to Israel (NCMI). Established in 1844, the organization has been actively involved in its mission since its inception. Today the organization has operations in Israel, Eastern Europe, and Norway.

Although the international missionary work began in Eastern Europe, where the majority of Jews lived at the time, it quickly expanded to Israel in 1948.

Since then, we have been establishing churches, senior centers, and standing in solidarity with the Messianic movement in the country.

Our ongoing goal is to engage the global church for the Jewish people, demonstrate Christian love to the Jewish community, and share the gospel with the Jewish people.
